Maria on the FAST track at Milingimbi

Our worker in Milingimbi, Maria attended the FAST Babies (Families and Schools Together) program this week. FAST Babies is a research based, parent and family support, multi-family prevention program for infants 0-3. The activities aim to build relationships between the new mother, father, grandparents, supporting agencies and community. Maria really enjoyed seeing the young parents learn more about infants so they can teach others to do the same. It was a fantastic opportunity for Maria to speak with the families about budgeting and the financial strains of new babies.
