Kim completes Certificate III in Home & Community Care and Certificate III in Aged Care

Kim Gleadall from Timber Creek Aged Care joins her Team leader Lee Armstrong in completing both the Certificate III in Home and Community Care and the Certificate III in Aged Care.

Kim only had one more unit to complete her second certificate when Julie from HK conducted training in Timber Creek from the 15th to the 19th February 2016. The unit was HLTAP301B Recognise healthy body systems in a health care context. Hence the picture of Kim with our lovely model.

Kim attended training funded by the Department of Health through the Northern Territory Community Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Aged Care Training Project.

Kim has worked hard and has achieved great results both on the job and in the classroom. The great relationship between HK, Kim, other staff at Timber Creek and Victoria Daly regional Council certainly helped Kim to achieve such fantastic outcomes, but she deserves most of the credit for putting in the hard work. Thanks to Victoria Daly Regional Council staff for putting on a great afternoon tea to celebrate Kim’s acheivements.
