Introducing Melissa

Hi my name is Melissa Bentivoglio and it’s good to have joined the team at HK Training and Consultancy recently. For the past 20 years I have been working in community development, largely with Indigenous peoples in a land management and enterprise development context. I have enjoyed living and working in the Northern Territory for most of this time.

Financial counselling is a new experience for me, although the importance of financial literacy has always been evident in community development work. I am enjoying the one-to-one contact with clients to support their financial literacy and resolve issues. It has also made me more aware of the socio-economic challenges that people face, particularly during this coronavirus pandemic.
