HKTC at Alice Springs AAG Conference

HK Training and Consultancy were an exhibitor at the recent 48th Australian Association of Gerontology National Conference in Alice Springs. Our aim was to promote and provide information about our Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Training Resources. There was plenty of interest and as a measure of our success we now have over 100 registered users of our resource package.

As part of our display we played several of our Training DVDs which are used in conjunction with our Training Modules. The DVDs were an immediate hit with the conference delegates, many commenting that together with the Student and Trainer Workbooks they filled a gaping need in the resources available to Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Aged Care Workers.

Once registered on our site all the Modules (Student and Trainer Workbooks , Power Point Presentations, Student Activities) can be downloaded and by simply clicking on the ‘Order DVDs’ button the DVDs can be requested and will be posted out. All resources are provided free of charge through the funding we received from the Department of Social Services (now Department of Health).
