Darwin Big Super Day Out a Super Big Success
First Nations Foundation held a Big Super Day Out in Darwin on 14th July 2019 with HK as the community partners. The Australian Tax Office, Centrelink, ASIC and 5 major super companies were all hands-on deck to assist people. HK staff were on hand in Raintree Park and were kept busy with 46 Indigenous people checking for lost superannuation and finding $227,232.51!!
This is a great initiative and an important service for Indigenous people who find it hard to engage with financial services.
We hope that we can work with First Nations Foundation into the future in Darwin and hopefully expand the Big Super Day Out into West Arnhem communities.
