About our Enhanced Income Management (EIM) Support Service

Cashless Debit Card (CDC) has ceased operation and Enhanced Income Mangement was introduced across the Northern Territory on 6 March 20203, HKTC Enhanced Income Management (EIM) Support Service continues the work in the West Arnhem Land and Kakadu communities of Gunbalanya, Jabiru, Mudginberri, Warruwi and Minjilang. 

We provide ongoing education and assistance to any person who is or has participated in the now ceased CDC program or is entitled to receive Income Support in a previous CDC location.

EIM Support Service

Provides:

• capacity building for eligible income support recipients - build skills to interact with Government services, financial institutions and retailers, including through online functionality;
• basic financial literacy – to support eligible income support recipients to take greater control in managing finances through enhanced basic budgeting and financial literacy skills;
• digital literacy and safety – to support eligible income support recipients to strengthen their digital literacy and build awareness and understanding around maintaining digital safety;
