Sun sets on our time in 13 communities across the Top End

With the change to Department of Social Services’ service delivery model as of January 1 2016 we ceased servicing Bagot, Knuckey’s, One Mile, Kulaluk, Minmarama, PIV, Amangal, Acacia Larrakia, Belyuen and from 1 February 2016 we also ceased servicing Galiwin’ku, Gapuwiyak, Ramingining and Milingimbi and our offices at Gapuwiyak, Milingimbi and Galiwin’ku closed their doors for the last time. We now only service Jabiru, Manaburdurma, Mudginberri, Gunbalanya, Minjilang and Warruwi.

If you live in or need to refer someone from Darwin, Palmerston, Rural suburbs, Batchelor, Pine Creek, Tiwi Islands and West Daly area’s you need to contact Catholic Care on 8944 2000 and if you live in or are referring from East Arnhem you need to contact Anglicare on 8939 3400

We are devastated by these changes but would sincerely like to thank every person and organisation that contributed in giving our clients a wraparound service that greatly increased their chances of making permanent changes in their lives and the lives of their families. HK would also like to thank our team who worked so hard in the East Arnhem Communities, Darwin and surrounds who sadly due to the changes lost their jobs.
